Pacharan
Pacharan is an alcoholic drink typical from Navarre (Spain). It is made with sloe berries put in anisette for a period between one and eight months, and the result is a reddish-brown liquid around 25-30 degrees. It is served as a digestive after meals, as a liquor on ice or as a cocktail when mixed with orange flavoured soft drinks. It has existed in Navarre since the Middle Ages, but it became popular around Spain and started to be commercialised in the 1950s.
